You have the choice of 'Le Trisant' our two bedroom/four person gite or 'Le Bronwain' our four bedroom/eight person gite. Set in two acres in the quiet hamlet of Le Grand Breuil, Logis de Tertre has open views of the agricultural landscape which in July and August is dominated by fields of sunflowers or maize.
Constructed in the local stone Logis de Tertre is a typical Charentaise farmhouse. Careful conversion works by the owners have created two gites in the old stable and farm workers' house and much of the original stonework and timber beams has been retained to give a 'rustic' charm.
Each holiday gite has its own external eating area complete with table, chairs and a barbecue enabling you to enjoy pleasant sunny evenings with a glass of wine -- or two!
Fly from several UK airports to either La Rochelle or Poitiers airports and then hire a car. we are 40 minutes from la Rochelle and 75 minutes from Poitiers. Try Ryanair, Jet2, Flybe or Easyjet.
Alternatively take a cross channel ferry. Our closest port is St Malo ( 4 hour drive ), followed by Caen ( 5 hours ), Cherbourg ( 6 hours ), and Le Havre ( 6 hours .) Try Brittany Ferries or LD Lines.
